TV: Warehouse 13 SE4 EP10

Warehouse 13
Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi

Short season for Warehouse 13 this season. Normally - ironically - there are thirteen episodes a season but they seem to have conformed to all other shows these days and done a short ten episode season. We all know how much I hate a short season...

Woah, Artie (Saul Rubinek) is the bad guy! He killed Leena (Genelle Williams)! I did not see this one coming, I thought maybe Brother Adrian (Brent Spiner) was using an artefact to disguise himself as HG Wells (Jaime Murray) and take off with the astrolabe.... not this. As soon as I realised what had actually happened, I knew that the vision he has had of Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) since the beginning of season, was actually going to happen. *sighs*

Artie makes a fantastic bad guy though! Something Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder) said rang very true. "Arthur is a formidable enemy, an enemy  who knows everything about us, what we do and how we do it, and more worrisome, he knows us, our strengths and our weaknesses."

Pete's (Eddie McClintock) seeing ghosts now? How come he saw Leena and no one else did? At first I thought it was a trick from evil Artie... but it's not. I swear that Leena has died before and come back... has she or did I just imagine that? Or was it part of the whole, reverse time thing? I'm a little confused here...

I thought we were going to see another warehouse again then, we were so close! I loved seeing the previous one... was it Egypt? Terribly awesome.

Claudia did stab Artie and I thought for a minute that that was the end of him, no more Artie, but then when I was re-watching the episode I registered that Brother Adrian found a quote that said "His reason shall fracture and he shall live his life as two until there is only one." So maybe only Evil Artie died and Good Artie will survive? Probably not... I do jump to a lot of conclusions when writing these posts...

What about the Sweating Sickness from the Chinese Orchid? It's out in the world now isn't it? Fabulous...

Jinks : "Since I've been sent from Rome to Germany to chaperone you and Mrs Frederic isn't exactly a chatterbox, would you care to tell me what's going on?"
Claudia: "We have to find the Chinese Orchid before Artie gets the dagger. If we don't, he'll release the sweating sickness, we'll have to give him the astrolabe, he'll turn back time, the warehouse won't exist any more, you'll be dead, the world will lose hope and descend into chaos and dispair."

Until Next Season!

TV: Warehouse 13 SE4 EP8

Warehouse 13
Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi

First of all; hooray HG (Jaime Murray) is back! This makes me terribly excited, she has to be my favourite character in this show, and of course she figured out Artie's (Saul Rubinek) secret. Why are we not surprised? Does this mean she's doomed or whatever it was Brother Adrian (Brent Spiner) said would happen to someone if Artie told them what he'd done... 'Spose he didn't actually tell HG anything, she figured it out herself... does that mean it still applies?

It's kind of a relief that they all know now... well, everyone but Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly)... They are not going to happy about that when the eventually find out! I'm glad Mrs Frederic (CCH Pounder) agreed that Artie did the right thing with the astrolabe.

So there is a way to get Steve (Aaron Ashmore) off the metronome! I did get an answer to that question that if the metronome stopped both Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) and Jinks both die... damn! But now the metronome is gone, didn't see it happening that way! What is going on with Steve's mum? Oh, Steve's sister! Mrs Jinks was right in what she did - fighting against the death penalty for the killer of her daughter. Her reasoning was right; to spare the other mother the things she was going through. It was mercy.

There is something I noticed this episode... Pete and Myka always pick the wrong guy as the one who's doing the artefact badness. I always pick the right person before they do... maybe I should be a Warehouse agent? The idea of the artefact being inside this guy is a different one though isn't it? I do wonder what the goo will do to the guy though after having it injected so darn close to his heart...

I have such a bad feeling about Mrs Frederic giving HG the astrolabe... like, maybe it wasn't actually her or Brother Adrian was watching somehow. I don't know, just a bad bad feeling... The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that it's a scheme of Brother Adrian's.

TV: Warehouse 13 SE4 EP5

Warehouse 13
Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi

Pete (Eddie McClintock) had so many hilarious one liners in this episode, I chuckled quite a few times. Doesn't Myka (Joanne Kelly) know that you can get pregnant from kissing? *snickers*

I recognised the chief from Psych (Kirsten Nelson) right away just from her voice, turned to my husband to tell him and then when I turned back there's Lassie (Timothy Omundson) as well! You always know when you meet a guest star that you recognise, they are the ones who done it. Didn't Kirsten do a great job? I'm so used to seeing her as the hard-assed police chief that seeing her as a psycho fan was kind of amusing.

Why didn't the it work when she wished Pete dead? The whole 'have to love them for it to work' thing seems a bit far fetched... then again, it is the Warehouse... My husband is now positive that Pete and Myka are going to get together but I remember earlier in the show how they said that would never happen. I don't want it to happen. Why do the two main characters always end up having a torrid love affair? DO NOT WANT!

It looks like the brotherhood are serious about dismantling all of Artie's (Saul Rubinek) life's work....at least I thought so until  they went and left them in a storage unit of some kind for anyone to find? Wonder what else is missing and where it's gone. What I really want to know is how the hell they got into the Warehouse?

What's the purpose of Claudia's (Allison Scagliotti) outing with Mrs Frederick (CCH Pounder) and the making of artefacts? I hope there is more on that, it seems to be rather important... I did just have a thought... maybe the vision Artie sees of Claudia attacking him with the knife has something to do with Claudia protecting the warehouse? Something to do with her link to it? Just speculating. oh, and the secret is out; now Artie knows that Claudia feels Jinks' (Aaron Ashmore) pain, what are they going to do about it?

Another consistently good episode but boy oh boy, am I excited about the next week or what? Lewis Carol's mirror and evil Alice in Wonderland?! Hell to the yeah! Bring it!

PS. Where is HG (Jaime Murray)?!

TV: Warehouse 13 SE4 EP4

Warehouse 13
Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi

I liked this episode. Lots happened in the Season plot line and Hugo (Rene Auberjonois) is kind of cool for an eccentric ex-Warehouse Agent.

So we've found out the down side of the metronome but what I want to know is, the previous guy who was brought back by the metronome died a like a billion times and never stayed dead, right? He was brought back by Sykes (Anthony Michael Hall) right? Why didn't Sykes die? Does that means when Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) dies and comes back, Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) dies and comes back? Or does she just die? I don't know! Maybe I missed something and Sykes wasn't the one to use the metronome the first time... anyone else have any ideas?

Brother Adrian (Brent Spiner) guessed that is was Artie (Saul Rubinek) that stole the astrolabe! Crap! Remember how he said before Artie used it that if anyone was told about it that they would be doomed? Ahhh, now that Brother Adrian knows, does that means that he's doomed? Or does Artie have to tell the whole story? And what does Brother Adrian mean when he said that steps had been taken? What did the marbles and the gemstone mean? I'm so confused. Maybe the Brotherhood is the big bad this season? How is Artie going to explain that one. What is Mrs. Fredrick (CCH Pounder) going to say?

TV: Warehouse 13 SE4 EP1

Warehouse 13
Drama, Mystery, Sci Fi

Finally, more shows starting back up again! Excellent!

I love this quirky little show and I'm so glad it's still around! The characters are all so lovable - even if you hate 'em - and it has an Indiana Jones / Stargate kinda feel to it. Most of the time it's silly and fun but season plot lines always have some kind of twist to them. I have to admit, I couldn't remember where we left off and so I had no idea what was going to happen when I pressed play.

Ohhh, Warehouse 13 is gone! Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) and Mrs Fredrick (CCH Pounder - is that really her name?!) died, and HG Wells (Jaime Murray) gave her own life to save Pete (Eddie McClintock), Myka (Joanne Kelly) and Artie (Saul Rubinek).... woah, major cliffy. Thanks writers... *half sarcasm*

What was Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) talking about when she told Artie she knew what she had to do... I can't remember! Should have re-watched end of last season, damnit! It was something to do with Jinks wasn't it? After re-watching the last season finale I remembered... Claudia is going to make a wicked bad guy... but I'm gonna miss her in the Warehouse and what will she do when she inevitably runs into Myka and Pete? She loves them...

Terribly excited to finally have another show in the rotation and this is a nice light, enjoyable one. I'm glad it's back, bring on the new season!
